ABOUT
Willie Nelson's two concerts on June 29th and 30th in 1974 at The Texas Opry House took him from a Nashville songwriter to a Country rebel. These shows took place only a few months after Willie released one of the best concept albums ever, Phases & Stages.
Those in attendance witnessed Willie and his band at their finest, showcasing the full range of his material from classics written a decade before like Crazy, to his then-current hits like Whiskey River. These concerts represent Willie his giving the high-sign to Nashville, and embracing his new musical home.
