PURCHASE

This beautiful poster by Zeb Love commemorates Willie Nelson’s first, and Iconic, show at the Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin, Texas on August 12, 1972. This concert was the "big bang" of modern Austin music, and the show that put the “progressive country” movement on the map.

The art symbolically represents the "journey" in Willie's career from Nashville to Austin, which was a significant moment in not only country music, but pop music history. Because of Willie’s well publicized love of horses and animals in general, the artist decided to make Willie's journey on horseback, with the city of Austin in the distance. Purchase the Day Edition of 100, or Dusk Edition of 35!
